Massage Therapy – FAQ
While sessions can be deeply relaxing, my work is primarily aimed at supporting recovery, reducing pain and improving mobility.

2. What should I expect from a massage session?
Each session begins with a short consultation to understand your needs, physical condition and any areas of concern.
The treatment is then adapted accordingly and may include a combination of techniques depending on what your body requires on the day.

3. Is massage painful?
Massage does not need to be painful to be effective.
Some techniques, particularly deep tissue or sports massage, can feel intense in certain areas, but pressure is always adjusted to a safe and manageable level.

4. What should I wear, and do I need to undress?
You will be given privacy to undress to your comfort level.
Only the area being treated will be exposed during the session, and towels are used to ensure proper coverage at all times.

5. Is massage suitable for everyone?
Massage therapy is generally safe for most people, but certain conditions may require adaptations or medical advice beforehand.
Please inform me of any injuries, medical conditions or recent surgeries before your session so the treatment can be adjusted safely.

6. What is dry cupping therapy?
Dry cupping therapy uses suction cups to gently lift the tissues, improve circulation and release tension in the muscles and fascia.
It is often used alongside massage to support recovery and mobility. Temporary marks may appear on the skin and usually fade within a few days.

7. How often should I come for a massage?
The frequency of massage depends on your individual needs and goals.
This can be discussed during your session to find what works best for you.
